wtf is the deal with rapidshare.com vs rapidshare.de

are they they same company? why are there two identical sites?

if you get an account with one it doesnt work with the other?

luckily, most things i find use the regular rapidshare.com but every now and then (skynards posts) i find some rapidshare.de

i mean who cares, right? but im not paying for two identical services.

i went to rapid share but couldn't find what i was lookin for. back when it first changed from rs.de to rs.com they gave info on how to switch your acct over. you do not need to buy 2 different accts.

i have the .com and i tried using the same login ID for .de but it didnt work, ill look into it more...

.com and .de are the same company but you need an account for each site.

rs.de was the first, but then they got too small and started up the .com
If you had a .de account at that time, you could get a free .com account.

But don't worry, most files are served on the .com account nowadays.
