OK, I've been thinking for awhile that we really need a thread for the women that have made a difference, one way or another (usually another), somewhere in the political arena. They really don't deserve their own threads as they make their splash and then they are gone, rarely to be heard of (or, more importantly to us, seen) again.

A few examples would be the threads for Patti Davis, Jaid Barrymore, Ava Cadell, Alexandra Kerry, Laura Schlessinger, and probably a few more. If people agree, maybe their threads should be moved in here.

Also, since many of these pix are from the big bunny, I thought it best to place this thread in the Lounge.

OK, lets get this started with Bill's girls. Good old Bill Clinton, he sure did make life a bit more interesting. He was just like most of us in that he apparently had his share of dalliances (with a wife like Hillary, who wouldn't) but, unlike us, he drove the right absolutely crazy (and still does). They wasted over $50 million, and five years, investigating every move he ever made and wound up impeaching him for lying about a blowjob (something 99% of us would do).

One of the first to claim she had an affair with Bill was Gennifer Flowers, who claimed to have had a 12 year affair with Bill (he said it was only a one night stand) and eventually joined with the right in another attempt to discredit him.

Paula Jones

Paula, apparently, only had a brief run-in with Bill way back in Arkansas. The story goes that Bill invited her up to a hotel room, dropped trou and started trying to entice her with his manhood. It apparently didn't work. Here are a few pretty good descriptions of the incident:

Paula posed for Penthouse in December of 2000 after months of saying she would "never" do such a thing! She later claimed that she needed the money to pay for attorneys (even though her attorneys were mostly paid for by right wing groups). I ran across a couple of quotes from Ann Coulter that just had to be included:

"I was doing this for her, not just to expose Clinton ... (but) now it turns out she's a fraud -- at least to the extent of pretending to be an honorable and moral person," she told Inside.com.

"She used to be a hero in a David and Goliath conflict. She used to have dignity and nobility and tremendous courage. Now she's just the trailer-park trash they said she was."

Jayne Kennedy-Overton

I don't know how many of you remember Jayne but she was an absolute FOX! Just to give you an idea; she was Miss Ohio in 1970 (same as Halle Berry years later) and one of the 10 semi-finalists in the 1970 Miss USA pagent. In 1978, she was one of the first women to host "The NFL Today" and, in July of 1981, she became the first African-American actress to appear on the cover of Playboy. At 5' 10 1/2" tall, her legs went on forever.

Jayne may also have another "first". Its hard to tell, but she may be the first celeb to have had a sex video become public. It was made with her first husband (Isaac Kennedy) and there are various stories as to how it became public. One story has it that they left it in a hotel VCR while another suggests that Isaac leaked it after they divorced. To us, it really doesn't matter. It only matters that we now have access to the tape (the quality is pretty bad but you've got to like her taking his fist; she really seemed to like that). Needless to say, her career as a football host was over after this. She did a few films and exercise videos but never regained the stardom of the late 70's and early 80's. Today she's the mother of three daughters and has some health problems associated with endometriosis.

Moved this out of the Playboy thread, thought it was more appropriate here.

I don't think many around here have heard of this lady but she certainly created a bit of a stir in Washington about a year ago. Her name is Jessica Cutler and she used to be a staffer on Capitol Hill for Senator Mike DeWine (R-Ohio) until he found out that she was writing a blog (the Washingtonienne) about her sexual dalliances with other hill staffers (one of which, a lawyer, is now suing her). Who knew that you could get fired in D.C. for having a good time?

Anyway, her original blog is down now but several people have mirrored it (its quite interesting reading). Heres one:

Faye Resnick

Most of you probably remember this womans name, at least, but for those who don't she was fairly heavily involved in the O.J. Simpson case. She claimed to be Nicole Simpsons best friend and made various charges against O.J. Was any of it true? Who knows (only the killer knows for sure)! A Google search on her found a million pages but not that much of interest to us.

Donna Rice

Many of you have probably never heard of this woman, but you should have. I think it was Sun Tsu that originally said, "Know your enemy" and this woman, today, qualifies. She has been a crusader against internet porn for quite a while now, probably at least partially due to her being a "born again" Christian nowadays. A bit of info on her:

But in her younger years she had her wild side and is most noted for bringing down a Presidential candidate, Gary Hart, during the 1988 Presidential campaign. Apparently, she was Hart's "girlfriend" even though Hart was married at the time. Shortly after this news broke, Hart resigned from the campaign.

These are the only photos of her that I was able to find (poor quality), but there are apparently more. I found a reference that her photos appeared in a 1988 Playboy which was a review of 1987 (the cover is included below). So, if anyone happens to find these, please post them.

For those who don't know, up until about two years ago she was a high school reading teacher in Florida. Then she "got involved" with a 14 year old kid, was ratted out by the kids cousin, arrested, plead guilty in one county and had the charges dropped in another county (just yesterday). Anyway, the news media is ticked (hypocritically, I believe) because the charges were dropped in the one county and people are all upset about our "double standard" for "sex offenders".
